You Blinked
Each of you
gets a basketball and faces each other. Now one of you starts
the game by dribbling the ball with your right hand while
keeping eye contact with your friend. While you are still
dribbling, your friend starts to dribble with their right hand
while watching your eyes. Neither of you can
look away from each other’s eyes. The person who started first
does a new action like dribbling with your left hand while
still having eye contact. The other person follows. When one of you loses
eye contact, the other person wins the game. Repeat the game with
each of you taking turns to make the first moves.
Walleyball
For this game
you will need a solid wall that you can play against. The object of this
game is to keep your friend from being about to keep up with
your moves and lose control of the ball.
Both of you
stand facing the wall.
The person with the ball stands in front while the
other person stands behind them. The first person can
throw the ball against the wall in a chest pass, bounce pass,
one handed pass, etc. As soon as the ball is released the
first person moves to their left while the second person comes
in front catches the ball and passes it the same way against
the wall. If
either of you can not catch the ball or perform the right
task, you lose and the game starts again.
Plank Walking
This game
involves setting up eight areas around your basketball hoop
where you will take shots from. You can mark them with tape,
blocks or anything you have around the house. This game will
test your shot making abilities in quickness and
accuracy. Each of
you has a basketball and stand behind the basket. You count to three
together out loud.
On three each of you run to one of the eight areas you
picked and start shooting. You have to make the
basket from that position before you can move onto another
area. The first
person to complete all eight areas wins.
